Get Started Now!Hello! I'm Sandy Peckinpah
I help inspirational women, like you, create and write your book or blog so your story can make a difference in the world!
I'm the author of 5 published books, and recently had my award winning book, How to Survive the Worst that Can Happen, translated and released by the largest publisher in China. I've also produced hundreds of blogs for publications like Medium.com, The Startup, Thrive Global, and Huffington Post.
A few years ago, women began asking, "May I take you to coffee? I want to ask you questions about writing."
But it went further than coffee. They asked me to mentor them. So... using the same transformational and effective strategies from my own writing business, as well as working for 26 years with my husband who was a successful TV writer and producer...
I created an easy system to help you!
So let's get started on your dreams.

Questions?
“I have a desire to write, but I don’t know if I’m a good enough.”
How much time do I need to devote to this?
I’ve never felt like a creative person, and always wished I could be. Does that matter?
Is there a money back guarantee?
So... Here's my Story
I, too, wanted to write, but I didn't know how to begin, or even if I was good enough. It took a life altering experience to take away my fear and finally commit to writing.
That spark of inspiration was the birth of my daughter.
For over two decades I worked behind the scenes of a professional writer. My husband was an Emmy-nominated television and film writer and producer, doing numerous shows and movies including the Sci- Fi Show, Sliders, Silk Stalkings, Beauty and the Beast on CBS, and the blockbuster feature, Man of the House, for Disney.
I helped him create story ideas and characters, come up with dialogue, polish his work, and do the final edit on his scripts… but I was terrified to write on my own. I didn’t even try!
Do you ever feel that way?
You See...
All of that changed on the night my daughter was born.
When I first saw her face, it was not what I expected at all, yet it was somehow familiar. It was as if my soul had prepared me for this.
At the time my husband was working on the TV series, Beauty and the Beast starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman.
Many evenings, we'd discuss the characters and storylines and ask… what would it be like to be born different? How would that change a person’s life?
We didn't know how important these discussions were
Until...
The Universe Delivered...
My daughter was born with a facial defect, a bilateral cleft. It was as though the universe had prepared us.
The doctors said she'd need numerous surgeries throughout her childhood, but what about the years in between?
What would her life be like? I guessed the early years in school might be rough. Would she be teased and shamed?
In a strange way, all those nights of talking about Beauty and the Beast had inspired us for the role of raising her as a confident, powerful woman.
That was the day my need to write became greater than my fear.
I sat down to begin my very first book… a fairy tale for my daughter. I found a publisher, a small educational publishing house that was willing to take a chance.
I didn’t know, then, we were part of God’s greater plan to raise awareness about birth defects. The book attracted a wide audience, and my darling daughter and I went on talk shows, radio shows, and were featured in newspapers all over the country. The book was in schools, hospitals, libraries, and clinics.
It made an impact I could not have foreseen.
The book was recorded with the voice of Little House on the Prairie actress, Melissa Gilbert, with music by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra.
It was nominated for a Grammy in 2009!
Honestly... It went way beyond my wildest dreams!
More Inspiration... they've done it, and so can you

"I have had a book in my heart since I was twelve. I had no clue how to start writing about my life, and almost thought it was something that might not ever happen.
Then in walks Sandy Peckinpah. It was a God appointed meeting! She guided me, and let me go at a pace I needed to heal, because that’s what happened, I healed.
Today, I’m the proud author of Pieces of Me.”

Here are the facts...
“This is the best time in history to get your book published.”
-Reid Tracy, President and CEO of Hay House Publishing
Why? Because there are so many publishing options for new authors.
We can all work toward the goal of being traditionally published, having an agent, and being on the New York Times Best Seller List. My best friend is one of those! But ... there are other options.
Just imagine...
Just imagine having your book in hand at your own book signing party this time next year. Yes! It's possible! My client, Chevonna, did it in just 9 months, and so can you! (photo courtesy of Chevonna)
The new wave of self-publishing offers new authors an expedited experience of having your book in hand in a short amount of time, without having to buy thousands of copies (that sit in your garage!).
Today’s self-publishing market offers print-on-demand (no more buying thousands of copies to sit in a garage!). It means your book Is listed on Amazon or the Barnes and Noble website, and when a copy is purchased, it’s printed and shipped…that fast! You can also upload your book onto Kindle and make it available as soon as Amazon approves the copy.
We'll discuss all your options within the course!
Isn't it Your Turn?
INQUIRE NOWHere's what happened to one of my books...
Sometimes our darkest hours bring out our greatest purpose.
Let me tell you another personal story... this one is sad, but I know every woman has had something happen that forced them to become better.
I had written my first two books after the birth of my daughter. A few years later, I lost my oldest son to meningitis.
I didn't know if I could go on...
But a friend who'd lost a child brought me a book written by another bereaved mother.
That book was my lifeline. It was the reason I could get up in the morning. It encouraged me to start writing in a journal.
I vowed, if I could heal from this, I would write my own brave story of recovery...
And So I did
They dreamed they would... and so they did...
Many of these women in the "Write to Heal" workshop are now published authors!
Your Story is one of Triumph
Not every book is meant to be a best seller, or every blog read by thousands, but they are stories that should be told.
I wrote and self-published How to Survive the Worst that can Happen through Balboa Press, a Division of Hay House. Why self publishing? Because I wanted to see it published and I was turned down by a few agents (saying it wasn't a large enough audience.)
I'm so glad I did...
It sold better than I expected, and it received lots of awards. Not only did parents buy it, but people gave it as a "condolence card" to newly bereaved parents. Even clinics and libraries purchased it as a tool for those grieving.
You never know how far-reaching a book will spread its wings.
Then... after a few years, my book got noticed by one of the largest publishing houses in China. They sent a contract (and $$$ advance!), and the book is now traditionally published and selling in China!
It's absolutely Possible!
And So...
